Web Design FAQ
Creating Content - Text, Photos & Video
While we can provide a copywriting service, we will want your input because there really is nothing quite like that insight that comes with owning a business. You can write the content or write just some of the content and have us edit it for you, the choice is yours.
We’ll talk you through each stage of the process and if you’re in need of a photographer or a designer to create your branding we’re happy to recommend some professionals in these fields for you too.
Creating The Right Look
We’ll have an introductory call during which styles you like or dislike will be covered, we’ll cover what’s to be included on your website and work together towards a concept that’s right for your business.
The Process
Over the years we’ve learned what works but as we appreciate that client styles vary, we’ll discuss this early on so that you’re comfortable at all stages of the process.
Management Of The Website
On completion of your site we’ll run a training session or sessions with you, the style of site will dictate the number of sessions as naturally an ecommerce site will require more training than a brochure site.
All training will take place via Zoom and a selection of training videos will be made available for elements of your site for six months from completion.
Pricing
Every web project will come with different requirements. Some websites are a simple one page home on the web, others are complex ecommerce stores with an extensive product range and a busy blog.
For this reason we generally don’t quote prices upfront because we prefer to find out what you want or need first, establish whether you might qualify for any sort of funding and from there look at extras such as email marketing, strategy, paid ad campaigns or having blog posts written for you on an ongoing basis.
That said, we will be launching a programme later in 2021 designed to elevate your presence online with a new or improved WordPress site and Marketing Training – launch date for this is June 2021 so do stay tuned or sign up for our newsletter on the link below to be first in the know!
There will be some third party costs also – your domain if you don’t own one, hosting (your place on the web), security certificates. We’re happy to recommend options that will suit, are very reliable and cost-effective too. We’ll go through this process with you too and explain how this is managed in the future too.
